Top 10 Christian Conferences and Gatherings Worldwide

Where believers gather to be renewed, empowered, and sent out for Christ

Table of Contents

Across the world, millions of Christians come together every year not just in churches, but in stadiums, auditoriums, tents, and arenas — united by a hunger for God and a longing for revival. These are not just meetings. They are moments of transformation. They are catalysts for global missions, personal healing, and church renewal.

In this article, True Jesus Way invites you to discover the top 10 Christian conferences and gatherings worldwide — the places where the Spirit of God is moving among thousands, even millions, in ways that are shaking the world for Christ.

These events are not about celebrity preachers or emotional hype. They are about the living Gospel — preached, sung, lived, and received by all who come hungry. Whether you are a church leader, a young believer, or someone searching for truth, these conferences are open doors to the power and presence of Jesus.

This article will reveal one life-defining truth: when the people of God gather in unity and hunger, God shows up in power. This truth matters not just for the church but for your own walk with Christ — right now.

Criteria for Ranking the Top Conferences

In evaluating which Christian conferences and gatherings belong on a global top 10 list, True Jesus Way has considered more than just attendance figures or media buzz. Each of these events has been chosen based on a set of spiritually rooted and ministry-relevant criteria. These are not just crowd-pulling events — they are sacred assemblies that reflect the heartbeat of the global Church and the call of Jesus Christ in this generation. Here’s how we ranked them:

Global Reach and Diversity

One of the foremost indicators of a truly impactful Christian conference is its ability to transcend borders — both geographic and denominational. Events that draw attendees from dozens, even hundreds, of nations demonstrate that the message of the Gospel is alive and speaking to every tribe and tongue. Global reach includes not only physical presence but also digital participation, with conferences offering live-streamed sessions, translated content, and multilingual resources that connect believers from all walks of life.

We prioritized gatherings that have clearly established a broad international presence and have become spiritual hubs for Christians from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Attendance and Participation Scale

While numbers alone are not the measure of spiritual value, the scale of participation often reflects the hunger for God among the people. Some of the conferences listed have filled entire stadiums with 60,000 to 150,000 people at a time, while others may have smaller physical audiences but attract millions through livestreams and digital platforms.

We took into account both in-person attendance and online reach — especially in the post-pandemic era, where hybrid models have become essential to maintaining global access and safety.

Spiritual Depth and Theological Integrity

Not all large events preach the true Gospel. For this reason, True Jesus Way looked carefully at the core theological foundation of each gathering. We gave priority to conferences that clearly proclaim:

  • The Lordship of Jesus Christ
  • The centrality of the Cross and resurrection
  • The necessity of personal repentance and faith
  • The authority of Scripture
  • The work and power of the Holy Spirit

Events that veer into motivational speaking or entertainment without anchoring in the Word of God were not considered. The goal is not merely inspiration — it is transformation.

Missional Focus and Long-Term Fruit

Many conferences inspire, but few mobilize. We ranked higher those conferences that actively call participants into greater obedience — whether through missions, evangelism, discipleship, church planting, or social justice rooted in the Gospel.

We looked for events that produce long-term outcomes, such as:

  • Increased missionary sending
  • Commitments to unreached people groups
  • Local church planting or revitalization
  • Documented conversions and baptisms
  • Ongoing discipleship networks or training

These gatherings are not ends in themselves — they are launchpads into the world for the Kingdom of God.

Legacy, Consistency, and Trustworthiness

Some events on our list have a long history of faithfulness, dating back decades. Others are newer but have already demonstrated remarkable integrity, spiritual authority, and consistency. We considered how long the conference has existed, how consistently it has been held, and how its leadership has maintained credibility and accountability.

We also considered how these conferences have responded to global crises (such as the COVID-19 pandemic), shifts in culture, and the challenges facing today’s Church. The most impactful events are those that remain true to Scripture while addressing real issues with clarity, courage, and compassion.

Multigenerational and Cross-Cultural Impact

Finally, we gave weight to events that intentionally equip all age groups — especially the next generation. Conferences that invest in youth and children’s ministries, train future leaders, and foster intergenerational discipleship carry the legacy of faith forward.

Additionally, we honored those gatherings that bridge cultures and ethnicities, reflecting the true diversity of the body of Christ. Events that create space for African, Asian, Latin American, Indigenous, and other voices to be heard — not just included — were given special recognition.

These criteria, grounded in the Word of God and guided by the Spirit, shaped our selection process. The following top 10 Christian conferences are more than events. They are movements where God is at work — and where His people are listening.

Top 10 Christian Conferences and Gatherings Worldwide

Top 1: Passion Conference (USA)

Passion Conference, founded in 1997 by Louie Giglio, is a defining event in global youth ministry. Taking place primarily in Atlanta, Georgia, it draws tens of thousands of college students and young adults each year — often filling venues like the Mercedes-Benz Stadium with more than 60,000 in-person attendees and millions more joining via live stream.

More than an event, Passion is a movement centered on Isaiah 26:8: “Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” The gathering features powerful worship led by artists like Passion Music, Crowder, and Kari Jobe, alongside deep biblical teaching from leaders such as Louie Giglio, Christine Caine, and Jennie Allen.

The impact is tangible. Every year, attendees give sacrificially through the “End It Movement” to combat human trafficking, fund Bible translation, and support global missions. As of 2025, Passion has raised over $18 million for these causes and launched countless young people into ministry, missions, and godly leadership.

More importantly, testimonies abound of young people surrendering to Christ, breaking addictions, and committing to purity and purpose. Passion is helping redefine what it means to be young and holy in this generation.

Top 2: Hillsong Conference (Australia)

Hillsong Conference, held in Sydney, Australia, began in the 1980s as a local church initiative and has grown into one of the most well-known Christian gatherings worldwide. Each July, tens of thousands of believers from across Oceania, Asia, Africa, and Europe come together to worship, learn, and grow.

With sessions led by Hillsong pastors and global speakers like T.D. Jakes, Steven Furtick, and Robert Fergusson, the conference focuses on strengthening the local church and training believers for real-life ministry. Hillsong’s worship — with songs like “Oceans,” “Mighty to Save,” and “What a Beautiful Name” — has transformed global Christian music, and the conference becomes a living sanctuary of praise.

In recent years, the conference has also addressed leadership integrity and accountability, following public challenges within Hillsong Church. Despite these issues, the conference continues to draw thousands because of its deeply Christ-focused worship and global connection.

As of June 2025, the Hillsong Conference is actively reimagining its future, investing more in small church partnerships, indigenous voices, and discipleship-centered tracks.

Top 3: The Send (USA, Brazil, Global)

The Send is not a typical conference. It is a global call to activation. Launched in 2019 in Orlando, Florida, by a coalition of ministries — including Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Circuit Riders, and Christ for All Nations — it was born out of a desire to see every believer live on mission.

Its model is stadium-sized evangelistic and discipleship-focused events that send people to “go”: to the nations, to their neighborhoods, to their schools, and to vulnerable populations like foster children and the unreached.

The Send has already made history: in Brazil alone, over 140,000 people attended a simultaneous stadium event in 2020, and 2022 events in Kansas City and Argentina saw similar impact. Each gathering includes pre-event fasting, all-day worship, biblical messages, and powerful altar calls for repentance and mission.

What sets The Send apart is its post-event follow-up: registrants commit to practical next steps — such as applying for missions, volunteering in foster care, or evangelizing their schools. Partner ministries then contact and mentor them.

By June 2025, The Send has extended its reach into South Korea and South Africa, becoming a global missions movement mobilizing the next generation with urgency, humility, and clarity of purpose.

Top 4: Urbana Missions Conference (USA)

Urbana, hosted by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, is held every three years and is considered one of the longest-running and most impactful missions conferences in the world. First held in 1946, it has equipped over 300,000 students and young adults to consider their role in God’s global mission.

Hosted in Indianapolis (formerly in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois), Urbana draws between 10,000–20,000 attendees each session. What distinguishes it is the depth of Scripture teaching, cultural humility, and direct calls to missionary service.

Each conference includes a walk through a book of the Bible (e.g., Matthew, Acts), nightly global testimonies, practical seminars on calling, culture, and evangelism, and an exhibit hall with over 200 mission agencies.

As of Urbana 2025, there is an increased emphasis on unreached people groups, diaspora missions, and trauma-informed care. Many students leave Urbana with clarity about full-time missions or Gospel-centered vocations in business, medicine, and education.

Top 5: New Wine United (UK)

New Wine is a Spirit-empowered renewal movement based in the United Kingdom, with its summer conference (New Wine United) drawing thousands annually. Begun in 1989, it has become one of the most respected multi-generational Christian gatherings in Europe.

What makes New Wine unique is its focus on the local church. Its mission is to see churches “changing nations.” The conference blends deep theological teaching, charismatic worship, healing ministry, and community connection.

Sessions are available for all age groups — from toddlers to senior pastors. Notable speakers in recent years have included Amy Orr-Ewing, Archbishop Justin Welby, and John Mark Comer. Worship is led by teams from Vineyard, Soul Survivor, and local UK churches.

Since COVID-19, New Wine has shifted to a hybrid model, offering both on-site and online participation. As of 2025, the gathering has begun expanding into continental Europe, empowering church leaders in France, Spain, and Eastern Europe.

New Wine is not just a conference; it is a movement equipping ordinary believers for extraordinary kingdom work.

Top 6: Jesus Global Youth Day (Philippines)

Held for the first time in 2019 in Manila, Jesus Global Youth Day (JGYD) was a groundbreaking event for the Asian Church. It brought together over 50,000 young people from more than 30 nations at the Mall of Asia Arena, with a vision to raise a Jesus-loving generation that will transform the nations.

JGYD was birthed through a collaboration of Filipino pastors and international leaders like Ron Luce and Nick Vujicic. With messages centered on identity in Christ, holiness, and evangelism, the event created ripples far beyond the Philippines.

Following COVID delays, plans for the next JGYD have resumed as of 2025, with satellite gatherings in Indonesia, Vietnam, and India. The movement is focusing on high school and university partnerships, youth leader training, and digital evangelism.

Its impact is visible in the thousands of youth-led ministries birthed in its wake, making JGYD a strategic gathering for raising up Asia’s next spiritual leaders.

Top 7: Azusa Now (USA)

Azusa Now was a one-time, massive revival gathering held in 2016, but its legacy is still shaping the global Church. Hosted at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum by Lou Engle and TheCall, Azusa Now commemorated the 110th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival — the birthplace of global Pentecostalism.

Over 60,000 believers fasted, prayed, repented, and worshipped together for nearly 15 hours, joined by millions more online. The event brought together Catholics, Protestants, Pentecostals, and Evangelicals in an unprecedented call for unity, healing, and a fresh Pentecost.

The effects of Azusa Now continue through its spiritual descendants, including The Send and RiseUp. Lou Engle’s ministry continues to mobilize prayer movements targeting universities, cities, and unreached regions.

While Azusa Now was not repeated in the same form, its call remains clear: a multi-generational, multi-ethnic revival that begins at the altar of surrender.

Top 8: Christ for All Nations (Africa)

Christ for All Nations (CfaN), founded by Reinhard Bonnke and now led by Daniel Kolenda, is responsible for some of the largest evangelistic gatherings in modern history. Their mass Gospel crusades across Africa regularly attract crowds of over 100,000 — sometimes exceeding one million attendees per event.

Unlike traditional conferences, these are open-air evangelism campaigns, but their spiritual impact is enormous. The 2017 Lagos crusade saw over 1.7 million people in attendance. Since then, CfaN has expanded with its “Operation Decapolis” — holding simultaneous crusades in multiple cities.

By mid-2025, CfaN reports over 96 million documented decisions for Christ. Their focus is not just preaching, but also training local pastors, planting churches, and ensuring follow-up discipleship.

For many African cities, these gatherings are the spiritual turning point — healing the sick, saving the lost, and mobilizing the Church like never before.

Top 9: Kingdom Invasion (Singapore)

Kingdom Invasion is one of Asia’s premier Spirit-filled conferences, hosted annually in Singapore by Cornerstone Community Church. Founded by Pastor Yang Tuck Yoong, the event emphasizes the operation of spiritual gifts, healing, and revival.

International speakers such as Bill Johnson, Randy Clark, Heidi Baker, and Leif Hetland have ministered at Kingdom Invasion, making it a melting pot of charismatic theology and supernatural demonstration.

What makes this conference vital is its regional influence — it has trained thousands of Asian pastors and believers in healing, prophecy, and the power of the Holy Spirit. As of 2025, Kingdom Invasion is expanding through smaller regional events in Vietnam, Japan, and Malaysia.

It is a gathering where theological depth meets tangible encounters — equipping the Asian Church to walk in the fullness of the Gospel.

Top 10: Empowered21 Global Congress (Global)

Empowered21 is a Spirit-empowered movement that aims to unify the global Pentecostal-charismatic community and prepare the next generation for evangelism and ministry. Its triennial Global Congress has taken place in cities like Jerusalem, London, and Seoul.

The most recent Congress in Seoul in 2023 gathered over 20,000 delegates from 130 nations. With the goal of every person on Earth having an encounter with the Holy Spirit by 2033 (the 2000th anniversary of Pentecost), Empowered21 is more than a conference — it is a global vision.

As of 2025, planning is underway for the Africa Congress in 2026. The movement focuses on seven “next-gen” tracks: church, evangelism, digital, business, education, compassion, and intercession — offering holistic empowerment to leaders around the world.

Empowered21 is equipping a generation not just to preach, but to live Spirit-filled lives that bring Jesus to every sphere of society.

Other Notable Conferences to Watch

While the top 10 Christian conferences listed above represent the most globally impactful gatherings in terms of reach, legacy, and influence, there are several other notable events that continue to shape the Church worldwide. These conferences — whether regional, denominational, or specialized — are deeply fruitful in nurturing the faith of believers, equipping leaders, and advancing the Gospel in practical and Spirit-led ways.

These gatherings may not match the top 10 in terms of attendance, but they are spiritually significant, biblically grounded, and increasingly influential. As of June 2025, here are some of the Christian conferences and gatherings worth watching:

Bethel’s Heaven Come Conference (USA)

Hosted by Bethel Church in Redding, California, the Heaven Come Conference is one of the leading Spirit-empowered gatherings in North America. Though temporarily paused after the COVID-19 pandemic and restructuring within Bethel leadership, the event is expected to relaunch in 2026 with a renewed focus on revival, healing, and intimacy with God.

Previous Heaven Come conferences have taken place in cities like Los Angeles and Dallas, gathering thousands to hear from speakers such as Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, and Lisa Bevere, with worship led by Bethel Music and affiliated artists like Brian & Jenn Johnson, Steffany Gretzinger, and Jeremy Riddle.

What sets this event apart is its pursuit of the tangible presence of God — marked by extended times of worship, healing ministry, and a deep hunger for revival culture rooted in Scripture.

Elevation Nights (USA & Global Tours)

Elevation Nights is a touring worship and preaching experience organized by Elevation Church, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Led by Pastor Steven Furtick and Elevation Worship, these events have grown into large-scale regional conferences held in major arenas across North America and, more recently, Europe and Latin America.

Rather than being a stationary annual conference, Elevation Nights is designed to go where people are — meeting them in their own cities with nights of powerful worship and practical, gospel-centered teaching.

Each gathering includes energetic praise, heartfelt storytelling, and a bold call to trust Jesus in every circumstance. With Elevation Worship songs like “Graves into Gardens” and “The Blessing” now sung in churches worldwide, the event functions as both a spiritual revival and a unifying moment for the broader church body.

Jesus Image Conference (USA)

Held in Orlando, Florida, Jesus Image Conference is a growing Spirit-led event focused on one central person: Jesus Christ. Hosted by Michael and Jessica Koulianos, the conference emphasizes intimacy with Jesus, holiness, healing, and the simplicity of the Gospel.

Unlike some large-scale gatherings, Jesus Image intentionally limits its attendance to foster a deep, family-like environment — and yet it has garnered an international audience through its livestreams and global network. Past speakers have included Benny Hinn, Eric Gilmour, and Todd White.

Worship is led by Jesus Image Worship and guests such as Upperroom, Lindy Cofer, and Catherine Mullins. Many attendees report experiencing healing, deliverance, and a fresh hunger for God’s presence.

As of 2025, Jesus Image has launched discipleship schools and church-planting partnerships, signaling that its impact extends far beyond the conference stage.

Catch the Fire Global (Canada and International)

Originating from the Toronto Blessing revival in the 1990s, Catch the Fire is now a global movement with annual conferences across Canada, the UK, South Africa, Kenya, and Brazil.

Their core message centers on the Father’s love, healing of emotional wounds, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and revival for everyday believers. These conferences often feature ministry times filled with prophetic prayer, inner healing, and spontaneous worship.

Leaders such as Duncan and Kate Smith, John and Carol Arnott, and Steve Long continue to minister alongside emerging voices in the charismatic renewal stream.

What makes Catch the Fire unique is its gentle but powerful approach to Holy Spirit-led transformation — not through hype, but through deep surrender and freedom.

As of 2025, Catch the Fire is developing new church plants and leadership training programs in Asia and Latin America, expanding its revival roots into new soil.

World Youth Day (Catholic, Global)

Although primarily associated with the Roman Catholic Church, World Youth Day (WYD) is one of the largest regular Christian gatherings on the planet. It was initiated by Pope John Paul II in 1985 and has since drawn millions of young people together for prayer, teaching, and community.

The most recent WYD took place in Lisbon, Portugal, in August 2023, gathering approximately 1.5 million participants, including Catholic and non-Catholic believers from over 140 nations. The next World Youth Day is scheduled for Seoul, South Korea, in 2027 — marking the first time it will be held in East Asia.

WYD combines large outdoor Masses with teaching, small groups, musical worship, and service opportunities. Though different in style from evangelical conferences, it demonstrates the global hunger among young people to engage with Jesus and live a life of meaning and mission.

Its inclusion here reflects the broader spiritual hunger among Christian youth worldwide and the need for Christ-centered gatherings across theological lines.

SEND: School of Empowerment and Discipleship (Global)

Distinct from The Send stadium events, the SEND School of Empowerment and Discipleship is a training conference movement focused on equipping young Christians to live a lifestyle of obedience and mission.

These intensive events and workshops — hosted by ministries like YWAM and Circuit Riders — are expanding in nations such as Brazil, South Africa, Thailand, and Poland. Though not as massive as stadium gatherings, their small-scale settings are producing deeply rooted, Spirit-filled missionaries committed to long-term Gospel work.

SEND Schools include teaching on the Holy Spirit, spiritual disciplines, preaching the Gospel, and caring for the poor — with practical outreach experiences embedded in each training.

By 2025, more than 15,000 young people have completed SEND discipleship tracks, many now serving in unreached or hostile regions.

Awakening Europe (Europe-wide)

Founded by German evangelist Ben Fitzgerald, Awakening Europe is a Spirit-led movement to re-evangelize Europe through large-scale gatherings, prayer, and mission.

These conferences have been held in cities like Prague, Nuremberg, Rotterdam, and Vienna — drawing thousands for worship, biblical teaching, and street evangelism. Many of these cities had not seen such vibrant Christian gatherings in generations.

Awakening Europe is deeply focused on bold evangelism, church unity, and empowering young leaders. As of 2025, new events are being planned in Norway and Ukraine, responding to spiritual hunger in post-war contexts.

Movimiento Misión (Latin America)

Movimiento Misión is a growing network of youth and mission conferences across Latin America, especially in Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. These gatherings are marked by vibrant worship, social justice engagement, and deep biblical training.

Though smaller in scale (averaging 5,000–10,000 attendees), the energy and theological seriousness of Movimiento Misión are forming a new generation of Latin American pastors, church planters, and missionaries.

Partnerships with groups like COMIBAM (the Latin American Missions Network) and World Evangelical Alliance have positioned this movement as a significant catalyst for Latin America’s missionary future.

Each of these conferences may differ in tone, tradition, and audience, but they share a burning passion for one thing: that the name of Jesus be lifted high among the nations.

Why These Gatherings Matter

Christian conferences and gatherings are more than dates on a church calendar. They are holy appointments. In a world filled with distraction, division, and spiritual drift, these events serve as catalytic moments where believers encounter the living God in power, truth, and unity. But why do they matter so deeply? Why are these gatherings not just optional, but vital for the body of Christ today?

They Create Space for Deep Encounter

In the rush of daily life, even the most devoted Christians can struggle to find time to sit in the presence of God. These conferences offer concentrated moments where the noise of the world is shut out, and heaven is invited in. Whether through hours of worship, teaching, or prayer, these gatherings remove the ordinary so that the extraordinary can happen.

For many, it’s in the middle of a packed stadium or a silent altar call where they first truly hear God’s voice, experience healing, or receive a call to mission. These are the burning-bush moments of our generation — and they are changing lives.

They Catalyze Mission and Action

One of the most powerful fruits of Christian gatherings is the release of laborers into the harvest. Urbana has sent thousands into world missions. The Send is igniting evangelism in schools, neighborhoods, and nations. Passion fuels justice projects across the globe.

These conferences don’t just teach theology — they send people to live it out. They don’t just gather crowds — they raise up messengers. Whether it’s a college student deciding to go to an unreached people group, or a pastor receiving a fresh vision to plant a church, these events are launching pads for kingdom action.

As Jesus said in Matthew 9:38, “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” These gatherings are where the asking turns into going.

They Bring Unity Across the Body of Christ

In an age of denominational walls, racial divisions, and theological debates, these gatherings create sacred space where believers lay down their differences and lift up Jesus together.

Where else do you find Catholics and Pentecostals praying side-by-side? Where else do Baptists worship alongside charismatics, or Anglicans learn from missionaries on fire with revival?

Conferences like Azusa Now and Empowered21 are healing old wounds, bridging generations, and modeling what it means for the Church to be one, as Jesus prayed in John 17. In these moments of worship and surrender, unity stops being an ideal and starts becoming a reality.

They Equip the Next Generation

Many of these events are not only attended by young people — they are led by them. Conferences like Passion, JGYD, and Kingdom Invasion are intentionally forming and commissioning Gen Z and Millennials to rise up in faith, purity, and purpose.

Instead of treating youth as the “future of the Church,” these gatherings declare: you are the Church — right now. With biblical teaching, leadership mentoring, and empowerment in the Holy Spirit, the next generation is being prepared to carry the Gospel further than ever before.

This is crucial in 2025, as more than half of the world’s population is now under 30. If we don’t reach and raise up the youth, we lose the Church’s future witness. These conferences are on the frontlines of that spiritual battle.

They Call the Church Back to Jesus

At their core, every true Christian conference is about one thing: calling people back to the feet of Jesus. In a world obsessed with strategy, self-help, and spectacle, these gatherings return us to the Cross, the Word, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

They remind us that revival does not begin with a platform — it begins with repentance. They strip away religious performance and offer instead the raw power of grace, truth, and the love of Christ.

As Revelation 2:4-5 warns the Church in Ephesus, “You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.” Conferences, when rightly focused, help us do exactly that — return to our first love.

A Story of Impact

In 2019, a 17-year-old girl named Abigail boarded a plane from Nairobi, Kenya, to attend Jesus Global Youth Day in Manila, Philippines. She had never left her home country before. She wasn’t from a wealthy family. She didn’t even have a passport until someone in her church felt led to sponsor her entire trip.

Abigail was quiet, unsure of herself, and struggling with deep questions. She had grown up in church but felt distant from God. Her heart was weighed down by shame — from family trauma, past mistakes, and a growing fear that she had no real future. Though she read the Bible, it felt like empty words. Though she sang the songs, she didn’t believe the lyrics applied to her.

That first night at the arena, surrounded by tens of thousands of youth from all over the world, something shifted. When the worship began — led by teams from Australia, Brazil, Korea, and the Philippines — she wept. Not from sadness, but from the overwhelming sense that she wasn’t invisible anymore. She belonged. Not just in that room, but in the family of God.

During the altar call, the preacher spoke these words: “You are not what you’ve done. You are who Jesus says you are. You are His.” Something broke inside Abigail. She stood to her feet, walked down to the front, and gave her life to Christ — fully and without holding back.

Later that week, in a workshop about missions, she heard about unreached people groups in East Africa. Something stirred in her heart. She signed up to learn more. Two years later, she joined a discipleship training school with Youth With A Mission in Tanzania. Today, in 2025, Abigail is part of a church-planting team reaching Muslim-background youth in rural Kenya.

“I came to JGYD thinking I had no voice,” she now says. “But Jesus gave me a new name. A new future. I’m not invisible — I’m called.”

Her story isn’t rare. Around the world, Christian gatherings are creating holy ground where ordinary people meet an extraordinary Savior. Where the silent begin to sing. Where the lost are found. Where destinies are rewritten.

Abigail didn’t find religion at that conference. She found Jesus.

Your Invitation Today

Friend, what you’ve read in this article isn’t just a report about events. It’s a witness to something deeper — a movement of God that is real, alive, and calling you personally.

The truth is: Christian conferences and gatherings are not the destination. Jesus is.

The Passion Conference, The Send, Urbana, and every other gathering exists for one purpose — to lift up the name of Jesus Christ so that lost souls can be saved, broken lives can be healed, and hearts can be awakened to eternity.

But you don’t have to travel across the world to encounter Him. You don’t need a stadium full of people or a famous speaker to find the Savior of your soul. Right where you are — in your room, on your phone, in your silence — Jesus is calling.

And what He offers is not religion, but life.

The Gospel Truth

The Bible says that all of us have sinned (Romans 3:23). We’ve all gone our own way, rejected God’s goodness, and fallen short of His perfect glory. The consequence is separation — not just in this life, but forever (Romans 6:23).

But God, in His mercy, sent His Son — Jesus Christ — to take our place. He lived the life we could not live. He died the death we deserved. And on the third day, He rose again in power so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

This is not a message of guilt. It’s a message of grace.

Right now, no matter who you are or what you’ve done, Jesus is inviting you to come home. To turn from your sin. To surrender your pride. To receive His forgiveness and follow Him.

Will You Say Yes?

You don’t need a microphone. You don’t need a crowd. You just need an open heart.

If you are ready to begin a relationship with Jesus today, you can respond with a simple prayer. The words are not magic — but if they reflect your heart, God will hear you.

A Prayer of Surrender:

“Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I confess that I have lived without You. Please forgive me. I turn from my sin and give You my life. I want to follow You. Fill me with Your Spirit and lead me from this day forward. I am Yours. In Your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.”

If you prayed that from your heart, welcome into the family of God.

What Now?

  • Start reading the Bible — begin with the Gospel of John.
  • Find a church or small group that truly follows Jesus and teaches His Word.
  • Talk to Him every day — Jesus is not far; He is near to all who call on Him.
  • Look into attending a Christian gathering — large or small — where you can worship, grow, and be encouraged.

At True Jesus Way, we believe Jesus doesn’t just wait for you at conferences — He meets you right here, right now. But we also believe there’s something powerful about joining with others who are hungry for God.

So wherever you are, don’t stay on the sidelines. Whether in a stadium, a small group, or your living room — the invitation is open.

Jesus is calling. Will you answer?
